Canada is the second largest country in the world. It is broken down into ten provinces plus the Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories. The total population is approximately 25 million. Each Canadian province and territory has its own tourism information office.
Canada is a country with an odd segmentation. While most countries have a tendency to be shared over the eastern and western population centres, Canada is said to be more of a north and south designation. Specifically, the majority of the population lives along the U.S. border and almost no one lives in the far north where the cold.
Canada tends to be overshadowed by its neighbour to the south. This is unfortunate, as the country is beautiful, the people are friendly and life is lived in a comfortable pace.
